So, the other night, I read about 40 chapters of Hunter x Hunter and just fell back in love with the series all over again. Tonight I read about four more chapters before I had to give it a rest before I overloaded myself and switched to Prince of Tennis for a bit. Now, I'm generally not as interested in the TeniPuri manga, because... enh, I like the anime. But I'm all addicted to the shounen thing right now, so Prince of Tennis manga it is! (God help me if I ever start reading One Piece manga. >_>)

Anyway. Just before Rokkaku, about a rumor that one of the members defeated over 100 of the Hyotei players and because they had no proof, Eiji offers a theory: "Ah - I know! He must have defeated Hyotei's cheerleading squad... they have over 100 members!" *SNORT* *loves Eiji*

Have the strange desire to get into Hunter x Hunter again. Perhaps catch up on the manga or finish watching the GI OAV (since I've still got two episodes left--was hard to get into considering it wasn't really anywhere near being finished), am curious to know what's going on in the series right now. And I miss Gon, he was such a cutie. And am oddly attached to Hisoka and wish to see more of him. ....bah. I shall go read TeniPuri fic now.

I was looking through the FAKE section over at FFNET and realized... bleah, I'm really, really just completely not interested in the FAKE boys dealing with the social stigma of homosexuality. It's not really such an issue in the manga, why bring it into the fanfiction? I mean, I realize people are free to write whatever they want and I've long been a fan of realism being interjected into fanfiction, but... I dunno, it just feels like it clashes with the atmosphere of FAKE.

Of course, I also effing hate it when Dee and Ryo get married. That is so a dealbreaker for me and a fic. (Ie, they get married in it? I don't care if it's the best thing ever, I'm not reading it. Bleah.)

I hate WinMX, I really do. It sucks me in with its promises of shiny things for semi-obscure series, like NeoRomance On The Radio with seiyuu like Okiayu Ryoutarou and Inoue Kazuhiko. It lures me in with the promise of more Harukanaru mp3s and video clips with the seiyuu. It sucks away my soul by tempting me with Love Mode and No Money CDs. And, of course. TeniPuri raws.

I hate it.

*sigh* And I've had some luck lately, I've gotten a couple of the NeoRomance radio things, I've gotten a few Harukanaru/Okiayu Ryoutarou mp3s, some Gundam SEED radio things, and even a Hunter x Hunter drama CD track (Uwaaaahhhh! I want the rest of them!), but... it's not near as much as I would like to have in my hot little hands.

Argh. Okay, the Evo section at FFNET has 213 pages. Give me the ability to sort by character already! Because I don't check the catagory every day and I am so not wading through that mess to try to find the decent fics among the crap! There are catagories with fewer fics that are sortable, so why the hell doesn't this one have it, too? Argh.

And, guys. Seriously. Give Teen Titans its own catagory already. Because I can't stand it being in my precrious comic area. It drives the OCD part of me nuts.

I've burned about five or six CDs today (and one of them was my fith TeniPuri-Only CD! *geek*) and I actually have some free space right now, but *SIGH* it's not going to last, because I still have a ton of stuff to download. In addition to the new stuff being posted, I'm still trying to catch up on Fushigi Yuugi, Tokyo Mew Mew, and Xenosaga. This is in addition to wanting to download the re-encodes of Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, since I watched tiny little low quality versions so many years ago.

This does not include wanting to load up the j-drama group and pick up the GTO drama and a bunch of random movies I'm keeping an eye out for. This also does not include the ton of manga scanslations I downloaded (and burned to CD) or how hideously behind I am with my comic book collecting.

I leave my programs up and running all night, but I still have a hell of a time keeping up with everything, but I am determined to get caught up this week. Sleep soon, but I've got Agent set up to download a crapload while I sleep. Sleeeeeeep.

Anyway. OST hauls since I like to keep notes for myself. Get Backers OST, Initial D Millennium Box 3, 4, & 5 (gotta check to see if I can still get the first two), Hoshi no Koe OST, Lost Universe OP/ED (because even though I've downloaded them about eighteen billion times, whenever I see them posted, I must get them, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH), Gundam X - Side 1, 2, & 3, Uchuu no Stellvia OP/ED, Yoko Kanno - Song to Fly, Matantei Loki Ragnarok OST, MaLoki Drama CD, some random DNAngel songs, FLCL OST 1 & 2, Scryed OST, Gatchaman Symphonic Orchestra (?), Texhnolyze OST, DNAngel Drama CD 1 & 2 & True Light single, Get Backers OP/ED, Jungle wa Itsumo OST, Uchuu no Stellvia Drama CD, a different Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu OST, Read or Die - Listen or Die -, Ghost in the Shell Movie OST, Ghost in the Shell: SAC OST, Fruits Basket Song, Prince of Tennis - Cool E, and a new Harukanaru Toki no Nakade drama CD.

This is also in addition to being one show short of burning about my 15th CD of Loveline episodes. (Which I'm actually getting through, since I've been doing fanart surfing--I must have listened to about eight shows in the past three days. XD)

So... tired.... @_@ Anyway, Jesus, there is way too much stuff I want being posted to the newsgroups right now. And I've lost all ability to say no to a series. I mean, I have the entire Slayers series on VHS, so do I really need digital backups? Apparently. >_> And I have at least half of the Fushigi Yuugi series on VHS, too, so do I really need the SUB/DUB (damn I hate whatever version of OGM they're using right now) versions? Same answer.

But I also want to collect To Heart, keep up with all the new stuff of the series I like right now, am eyeing Xenosaga and Magic Knight Rayearth. And musn't forget that I wanted to look through the DBZ group to pick up any interesting episodes there and check out the recent Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne posts to see if they're higher quality than the ones I watched a couple of years ago. I'm attempting to pick up Nightwalker and Petshop of Horrors (check!) as well. Oh, and did I mention I have my eye on Variable Geo? And Tokyo Mew Mew, which is being haphazardly posted.

PoT79 is out on BT, but hasn't been posted to the groups yet, so I'll want to grab that, but BT slows me down like crazy and takes about five times the time it would to download anything. Ugh. And all I want is to sleep, but considering I really should burn a CD first... especially if I want to keep downloading off the groups and munch up some space with BT files....

*sigh* There is so much to download these days. It seems like every day there's more and more and more stuff I want and I keep running out of room to download things onto. Like, today, I downloaded the 640x480 version of 87-88 of PoT, which was a huge file. Now I've got Agent running again so I can get the following stuffu: DNAngel OST, CCS OST 1, 2, 3, and 4 (I think I may have these already, but I'm too lazy to check, this is just easier), CCS Character Song Book, Samurai Deeper Kyo OST, DNAngel 15, AE&Aoshi's Konjiki no Gash Bell!! 04, Anime-Kingdom's Gundam SEED 41, CCS eps 58 and 59, Rice-Box's Da Capo 01 (because I want to know what the heck it's about), a ton of Fushigi Yuugi episodes (probably about 10 at 200-250MB per), Uchuu no Stellvia 16, Tantei Gakuen Q 01, DNAngel 16 raw, Scrapped Princess 13-14-15 raw (maybe, might ditch this one), DNAngel 15 raw, Shinesman 2, Tokyo Mew Mew 12 and 17, and then I'm going to reload everything back up to grab what Slayers episodes are still available and then, because I've been in a DBZ mood lately, I'm going to check out that group and see what's there.

....I really, really need another harddrive. >_<

A part of me wonders what's wrong with me because I read a lot of Dragonball Z fanfic every now and then. But the other part of me is planting fists on her hips, scowling huffily, and pointing out, you know, some of those DBZ writers write some really effing good fic. And, wow, are those characters surprisingly interesting/complex.

Plus, I have this huge love of those epic fics with actual plot. ...okay, seriously, what's wrong with me? ....I ask as I go back to reading more. =_=

I... am conflicted. Fanart of Keigo in a girls' uniform. It's... pretty in a naughty, yaoi-doujinshi kind of way. It's a really suggestive pose, too, and we're about *thisfar* from being panty-flashed. How am I supposed to feel? On the one hand, I generally don't care for this type of art, I'm not a big fan of putting pretty boys in girls' clothing. It's just not something that appeals to me and I think it tears down characters I love. On the other hand... the shading on this thing is gorgeous and the colors are beautiful.

How to feel about it? Hmm. *ponders*

I didn't really spend too much time looking at fanart this morning, but I spent some time and... *sigh* well, crap. A couple of weeks ago I lost my bookmarks file when Notepad and the computer froze; by the time I rebooted, the files had just vanished. I kicked small, cute things for awhile but eventually chose to view it as an opportunity to sort of have the slate wiped clean, as it were. My bookmarks file was just completely unmanagable at that point, there were hundreds of links in there and it just kept growing and growing.

So when the file was gone, I was frustrated, but I started over and I'm building a nice little file again. Only... it's doing the same thing the previous file did... it keeps getting bigger and bigger, no matter how much time I spend trying to get through all of it.

And... I want to visit all these sites! I want to find all the pretty little treasures! But... after an hour or two, I'm so tired, I keep finding all these new sites to mark down to visit later, and... I feel like I'm fighting against a losing battle. Wah, I need to, like, get paid for this or something. ^_~

Which reminds me that, damn, I almost wish I had someone to share stuff like this with, because I love to share. I need more weird friends to share stuff with. I've got Vul for my KeigoJiroh and OshitariJiroh stuff that I like to find, I've got Hana and Yume for the vast majority of stuff, but we're mostly Tezuka fans. I've got Noel for just about everything, but she's more of a TezukaKeigo/TezukaFuji/Tezuka/Oishi/MomoRyo/etc fangirl. I've got Di-chan for InuiKaidoh/everything. I need someone who really loves, say, OshitariGakuto or TezukaRyoma or FujiEiji for when I find those things every once in awhile. Awww. *foo*

I have episodes 7 through 12 of Dear Boys sitting on my harddrive or on CDs or what have you and I can barely work up the enthusiasm to stare at them right now. I'm about 12 episodes behind on Naruto (which, okay, I could catch up on in two days, one day if I really, really pushed it) and I still have PoT75 to watch.

Yet... all I can think about is that Ultra Maniac looks like so much more fun, Uchuu no Stellvia makes me twirl with happiness, and Juuni Kokki is currently sucking my brain up through a straw. I hope I'm not getting over my shounen craze. o_O

I really need to learn to not monkey around with the codecs I have installed on this computer, because normally XivD plays like a dream for me, but ever since I tried to re-install VobSub (which you wouldn't think would monkey with the XviD codec), I've had a hell of a time getting things to play. But, after much installing, uninstalling, and rebooting, I think I've finally found the (semi-)right combination of codecs that'll play the damn files properly. I love this codec, I really do, it lets me run Agent at the same time I'm watching a video, but damn can it be annoying sometimes. (Especially when I want screen captures. ;_; )

I like to save fanart to my harddrive, because I've seen a lot of sites go down or I've just never been able to find them again and I'd be sad if I could never see some of these beautiful images again. Plus, sometimes it's nice just to be able to go through my folder and look at all the pretty pictures.

(And let me just say that I save all fanart to a special folder just for it, so there has never been any confusion on my drive as to whether or not something is official art or fan-created. I mean, I can generally tell the difference, because if I like a series well enough to look for fanart, I've already seen enough of the art to be able to pick out the mangaka's style or tell what's an official picture. Fanart may be beautiful, but 99% of the time you can tell the difference. And if you can't... don't use it. So I don't really feel very badly about saving the fanart, because I'm very clear about marking where it came from. Anyway.)

....my Naruto and Prince of Tennis folders are insane. With Naruto, I have probably around 300 or 400MB worth of art. Prince of Tennis? I finally broke the 650MB mark. *head spins*

The biggest I'd had before, I think, was Scryed with about 95MB of fanart. Hikago could probably be up there, too, but I don't really care enough about the series anymore to look for that much art. I only really liked the KagaxHikaru art and anything that was stunningly beautiful, not just run-of-the-mill average-pretty.

....though, now I wonder how much Furuba or Yamimatsu fanart I've collected, because I've gone nuts for those series, too.... *ponders*

Still. PoT is my baby and I am determined to be the Queen of Fanart. ^_~
